The Golem

This is a conceptual project for a feature film based on the folktale, The Golem.

In 16th century Prague, Rabbi Loew creates a man from clay, a golem, to protect the Jewish community from blood libels and other outside threats. He must face the consequences when his creation becomes too powerful.

I chose to design the street in front of the synagogue where the final climax happens and the golem inadvertently causes destruction.
