The Fog Horn

A conceptual project for a film based on the short story The Fog Horn by Ray Bradbury.

Lani has returned to assist her grandfather, Jonah, the lighthouse keeper on an isolated island. He tells her of a dinosaur that will emerge from the water every year answering the call of the lighthouse's fog horn, but she doesn’t believe him. One night, during a storm, the dinosaur emerges calling with the same sound of the fog horn.

I designed the lighthouse keeper’s main living quarters and Jonah’s workshop.
