Seabiscuit

For a class project where we re-envision an existing script. I chose Seabiscuit.

Seabiscuit is a historical drama inspired by the true story of the race horse, Seabiscuit. The film follows the journey of the underdogs Seabiscuit and his jocky, Red Pollard, over several decades around the Great Depression as they become premiere racers and the lives and hope they and others build around what they overcome.

I chose to design the Ridgewood home of Seabiscuit’s owner, Charles Howard. We see the home several times throughout the film and in different times. I’ve chosen to focus on its look during the 1930s.
