Quiet War

For a conceptual project, I took an existing location and designed a set to fit within it. I designed a civil war era hotel converted into a Union army hospital.

Quiet War is a historical drama thriller that takes place in a hotel in Alexandria, Virginia that has been converted into a Union army hospital. The main character is Mary, an escape slave who has become a nurse in the hospital. A new group of soldiers arrive at the hospital to be treated. Among the men, Mary discovers Harriet, a Confederate woman disguised as a man and a Union soldier. Harriet is gravely wounded. Mary must decide if she will reveal Harriet as both a woman and a spy or have mercy on the injured woman.
